This
is the quintessential Namibian tour. Traveling up the
west cost of South Africa, into Namibia, up to Ludertiz
and continuing on to Soussesvlei, Walvis bay and Swakopmund.
Spitzkoppe is one of the highlights and a small section
o0f Botswana to Augrabies Falls on the return route.
Warning*** Do not attempt
this route if you have no sand riding experience, Smaller
bikes up to 750 cc and weighing less that 190kg are ideal
- big bike riders will need to be very experienced in
the soft sand and its not suitable with a pillion rider
for long strectches on the West Coast.
You can use the N7 as far as Garies - then join the rest
of the GPS route.
